Young WNBA fan sobs with excitement over post-game gift from Brittney Sykes

TwitterFacebook

WNBA star Brittney Sykes made one young fan’s dream come true with a heartwarming gesture that left the girl — and us — in tears.

After Sykes’ Atlanta Dream team lost to Las Vegas on Thursday night, she went over to the stands. She then handed her autographed sneakers to 9-year-old superfan Mya Danielle Nelson. The young girl was so overcome with excitement that she broke down crying, as seen in the video captured by videographer Wayne Gethers (via Deadspin).

THE WNBA MATTERS !!

Taryn may have totaled her car, but at least she walked away without injuries … and with some free makeup.

During her morning commute on Wednesday, she glanced at her GPS, which told her she had 13 minutes until her destination. “I’m in traffic and I joke to myself, ‘No way am I going to get there in 13 minutes,” she told Mashable through Twitter DM.

She was right: As she tried to change lanes, she didn’t see another car’s abrupt stop. She slammed on her breaks, but it was too late for…

TwitterFacebook

Ever wondered how Trump spends the majority of his days?

Well, according to a recent leak, a big chunk of his daily schedule involves something mysteriously known as “executive time”.

“He’s been particularly Twitter-rific lately which is no surprise, considering recent leaks revealed Trump’s schedule is 60% ‘executive time’,” Colbert says in the clip above.
