‘Game of Thrones’ fans spot a plastic water bottle in the finale

TwitterFacebook

It’s thirsty work being in the hottest series finale of the year.

Following that coffee cup debacle earlier in in the eighth and final season, eagle-eyed Game of Thrones fans have spotted another stray object within the last ever episode: a plastic water bottle.

If you look carefully in one scene, the bottle can be seen on the left of actor John Bradley’s feet — he plays Samwell Tarly. It appears 46:19 into the episode, just as Peter Dinklage a.k.a. Tyrion Lannister walks up.

Fans react to emotional ‘Game of Thrones’ finale

TwitterFacebook

Warning: The following post contains spoilers for the finale of Game of Thrones. You must know this by now.

After nine years, eight seasons, and 73 episodes, Game of Thrones bowed out with – if nothing else – a massive sendoff. Tears were shed, fire breathed, and wine drunk (mostly by us). The Iron Throne dissolved (literally), giving way to Westeros’ first vaguely constitutional monarchy, and the Starks split up (by choice this time) to explore the world and keep the peace.

Season 8…

Why Sansa and Tyrion are the only rightful rulers of Westeros on ‘Game of Thrones’

TwitterFacebook

Despite a season filled with inexplicable (arguably unjustified) twists, Game of Thrones Episode 4 Season 8 has begun a seemingly inevitable march toward crowning the most rote successor to the Iron Throne possible: Jon Snow. Or, if we’re being nihilistic, continuing the reign of Cersei Lannister.

But if there were any justice in this world (and to be fair, there might not be), the best and most thematically appropriate wild card that should reign over the Seven Kingdoms is Sansa Stark and…

‘Game of Thrones’ theory thinks Winterfell’s crypt is major foreshadowing — and it’s bad news

TwitterFacebook

Things are going to get very bad, very quickly in the third episode of Game of Thrones final season. But what if the threat is already inside the house?

Spoilers, obviously, for anyone who hasn’t yet caught Episode 2.

By now we know that everyone we care about who’s not named Cersei Lannister or Euron Greyjoy has converged on Winterfell. They’re ready for battle, with a plan that involves having the main force keep the White Walker army at bay while a smaller crew baits the Night King and…

If you’d like to pay your respects to all those who didn’t quite make it to the Iron Throne, there’s a graveyard for that.

To mark the eighth and final season of the beloved series, Australian cable TV company Foxtel, which streams HBO’s Game of Thrones in the country, has built a temporary graveyard in Sydney dedicated to the show’s fallen characters.

You can count on ‘Game of Thrones’ killing off Tyrion Lannister

TwitterFacebook

In six short weeks, Game of Thrones will come to an end. By then, our beloved Tyrion Lannister will be long gone, killed in the series’ final hours.

No, my prediction doesn’t come from a stolen script or a source deep inside HBO. All I’ve really got to back up my Tyrion theory is a hunch. A well-supported, highly-researched, and emotionally devastating hunch.

Throughout Thrones‘ past 7 seasons, Tyrion Lannister has mesmerized audiences with his bravery, integrity, darkness, and wit. He’s…
